“I’m proud of how confident I felt about making mistakes with locals. In my past I have been absolutely terrified to speak Spanish with native speakers but I learned new phrases, new uses, and pushed myself to apply what I learned in class when adventuring out.”

“The trip itinerary was great! It was the right balance of daily activities so we got to see and do everything we wanted in Peru. We never felt rushed or hurried. She knew exactly what physical requirements would need to be for the trip and planned free time/rest time at exactly the right spots. A perfect balance of fun activities but also recovery.”

Oaxaca City, Mexico: The group will stay at Hotel Con Corazón, which “invests most of its profits in education. Our Oaxaca City program supports students from low-income families in and around Oaxaca city in their education path, in order to give them a head start at the labour market and break their families’ poverty cycle.” Read more on Hotel Con Corazon’s website.
Peru: A portion of the program price will be donated directly to a Peruvian educational organization; while investing in your language growth, you will also be creating positive impact by supporting local educational efforts.
Colombia: We will work with our Colombian partners to find a local organization to invest in during our time in the country to ensure that participation in the program contributes to meaningful educational or community-based initiatives.
¿Qué esperas? ¡Vamos de viaje!
“I felt that everything we did immersed us in the local culture. From philosophical conversations with my Spanish teacher, to art history, to learning from the wisdom of older and younger generations… this trip felt nothing like an experience I would have planned by myself. Elizabeth was intentional with every experience we had while creating opportunities for us to explore on our own. I will treasure every single moment of this trip!”
