We’re back from Colombia! What an amazing trip. We started the week in Medellín: city of eternal spring, nestled in the Andres Mountains. We walked around the city, visited Comuna 13, rode the cable cars, visited a coffee farm, and tasted fresh Colombian coffee. We climbed the Piedra del Peñol and wandered the streets in Guatapé. We ended our trip in Cartagena with tours around the city and a beach day in the Caribbean. We took Spanish classes from local teachers in both Medellín and Cartagena and spent time with incredible guides who shared their country and culture with us.
¡Muchas gracias al grupo 2026 por su confianza y buena compañía! Me divertí mucho con ustedes, ¡gracias por todas las risas y los momentos bonitos que compartimos!
“This is my second trip with The Language Traveler. I am always so impressed with how organized and well-rounded the itineraries of these trips are. Everything is so well thought out. It is a perfect mix of language, immersion, cultural experience, and skill building. Elizabeth makes makes the trips extremely stress-free and handles all the logistics so that the focus can be on connecting with others and increasing language skills. I plan to go on many more trips with The Language Traveler!”

“The language immersion trip to Colombia was excellent. I enjoyed getting to know a new country through our experiences with very knowledgeable guides. The teachers at both locations of the language school were excellent and very helpful in helping me build my skills. Elizabeth planned an excellent trip with plenty of planned activities and enough free time to do other things. She was so engaging with all of us and created a great learning environment.”
