The Language Traveler’s mission is to provide quality language and cultural immersion travel programs for adult Spanish learners seeking to elevate their language skills. We aim to create opportunities for connection and conversation with local people and to invest in the communities we visit. Our travel programs include guided visits to popular sites in each destination, along with the free time for travelers to personalize their experience. Through these programs, we hope to provide opportunities not only for language development but to also foster greater empathy, human connection, cultural appreciation, and cultural humility.
“The language immersion trip to Colombia was excellent. I enjoyed getting to know a new country through our experiences with very knowledgeable guides. The teachers at both locations of the language school were excellent and very helpful in helping me build my skills. Elizabeth planned an excellent trip with plenty of planned activities and enough free time to do other things. She was so engaging with all of us and created a great learning environment. In addition to the excellent design of the program, she was very considerate of each individual on the trip. She wanted us to immerse ourselves in listening and speaking in Spanish and I think we did that for at least 90% of our days! I feel that I have a good plan to move forward with my Spanish language studies and I also look forward to visiting Colombia again the future. Lastly, I would look forward to another trip hosted by Elizabeth!”
